Doctors from the Regional Pediatric Tuberculosis-Prevention Center continue to actively use the JEMYS Tele-healthcare software and hardware system (Automated System of Remote Tele-healthcare Consultations), developed by Yusar+.

More than 200 remote consultations were conducted last year. This year, 10 online diagnosis revision sessions have already been held.

As was noted by the Department of Healthcare of the Primorski Region, tele-healthcare consultations are becoming increasingly common in daily inter-relation of doctors and patients in the Primorski Region.

Yuri Selyutin (medical institution Director) said that is has already been a year since tele-healthcare technologies began to be used in the Pediatric Tuberculosis-Prevention Center.

'The video consultation center has been working for about one year already. Our phthisiologists can receive tomography results by Internet from any place in the region and help their colleagues in diagnosis formulation and development of treatment strategy', said the Director.

In the opinion of Pavel Serebryakov (Vice-Governor), the tele-healthcare technology which is being developed in the region actually helps in timely diagnosis of the disease.

He stressed: 'It is important that nowadays, pediatric tuberculosis-prevention institutions are also using information technologies, helping to timely diagnose tuberculosis in children and teenagers'.
