Results of implementation of the JEMYS Medical Information System

The JEMYS Medical Information System was implemented in the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after Ochapovski for the purposes of keeping electronic health records, digitization of processes of diagnosis formulation and treatment, and automatic collection of statistical and financial reports.

The system is made up of inter-related functional components with the following modules:

 

• Automated workplace of clinic's front desk employee;
• Automated workplace for paid medical services room;
• Automated workplace of clinic's doctor;
• Automated workplace of instrumental diagnostics doctor;
• Automated workplace of in-patient facility doctor;
• Automated workplace of scientific researcher;
• Automated workplace for health surveys.

 

The system was implemented in the following sections:

 

• Front Desk of Consulting and Diagnostics Clinic;
• Rooms of specialists of Consulting and Diagnostics Clinic;
• Regional Allergology Center;
• Paid Medical Services Rooms;
• X-Ray Section;
• Ultrasound Diagnostics Section;
• Functional Diagnostics Section;
• Endoscopy Section;
• In-Patient Section.

 

The JEMYS Medical System allowed to shorten patient visit time for out-patient and clinic visits thanks to increased speed of work related to drawing-up of medical documentation, allowing to plan schedules of clinic doctors and inform patients on visit time, made easier daily keeping of health records for in-patient sections, and allowed medical employees to use the newest data from patients' electronic health records (consultations, instrumental examination data, and laboratory analysis data).

Directors of medical institutions, staying at their workplaces, can receive reports, view health records of any patient, and receive various detailed information.

As of today, the JEMYS Medical Information System is being actively used in work of the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after Ochapovski, undergoing constant development and covering new areas, which allows further simplification of medical employees' work and gives them opportunity to dedicate more time to those who are the most important ones: the patients.

Kurinnaya (Director of the Consulting and Diagnostics Clinic) stressed that 'It is necessary to note professionalism of employees of YSAR+ JSC, who, having dedicated a significant amount of labor, have trained our employees to work with the computer software, and, having implemented this information system, have helped us to raise quality of work, reducing time spent for drawing up and analyzing medical documentation.
