Endoscopy of the Future: How JEMYS Technology Improves Diagnostic Quality

.
In June 2025, the medical device "JEMYS Mobile Device for Processing and Archiving Endoscopic Data" (manufacturer: JSC YSAR+, registration certificate No. RZN 2023/21553 dated November 21, 2023) was successfully implemented in the endoscopy room of the N.A. Semashko Russian Railways-Medicine Clinical Hospital (KDC, Shosseynaya Street) at Shosseynaya Street.

The solution was integrated with the ERK-17010 (PENTAX) endoscopic equipment and supplemented with specialized software "JEMYS: Digital System for Processing and Conducting Endoscopic Examinations "Endoscopy" (version 5.0)."

The system configuration provided:
  • Local storage of digitalized endoscopic data;
  • Automatic transmission of examination results to the endoscopist's workstation;
  • Data analysis using artificial intelligence technologies for early detection of pathologies.
Key advantages of the JEMYS solution:
  • Preservation of the original quality of video and photo materials after processing and archiving;
  • Possibility of post-processing of recorded fragments (correction, annotation);
  • Improved diagnostic quality control through dynamic analysis and expert evaluation of archival data;
  • Support for AI algorithms (after training) that facilitate early diagnosis of diseases;
  • Ability to view and analyze obtained endoscopic studies using third-party software.

The solution has demonstrated its effectiveness in clinical practice, as confirmed by the positive feedback from hospital specialists. The implementation of JEMYS facilitates the creation of a unified digital archive of endoscopic studies, which is especially important for multidisciplinary medical institutions.

"The implementation of JEMYS opens up new opportunities for preventive medicine," note the clinic's specialists. "The accumulation of structured data and its high-quality processing will enable the detection of pathological changes at earlier stages."

The solution has already demonstrated its effectiveness in clinical practice. Of particular value is its ability to create a specialized database, which can be used not only for storage but also for training diagnostic algorithms in the future.
