YSAR+ congratulated Oryol oncologists on their anniversary
The Oryol Oncology Center is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. A conference dedicated to this occasion, "Modern Problems and Solutions in Oncology," was held on May 31.
YSAR+ supported the anniversary conference and presented a paper entitled "Innovative Technologies for Standardizing Mammographic Image Analysis in Screening and Diagnostic Algorithms." Marina Karpova, MD, PhD, a radiologist in the Breast Research Group, delivered the paper.
The experienced radiologist shared her experience in the practical application of the recommendation and statistics system developed by YSAR+ to automate early diagnosis and screening in Russian regions. Using the system, we have significantly reduced the number of errors and improved the quality of mammography results. Fully formalized protocols in accordance with international standards, as well as an intuitive recommendation and help system, allow both experts and novice specialists to easily navigate the system. The system's integrated teleradiology functionality enables three-tiered consultations with regional and federal centers of excellence, which contributes to the professional development of those involved.
Vladimir Krugly, Senator of the Russian Federation, welcomed the conference participants and noted, "The goal is to improve primary care and care at this stage to prevent late diagnosis. The oncology center should actively participate in this."
