YSAR+ at the Congress of Russian Oncologists

At the Congress

On June 14-16, 2017 the IX Congress of Russian Oncologists was held in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Once in four years the oncologists gather to discuss at the Congress the new technologies and treatment methods, determine the directions of the further development of the oncological science. The Congress scientific agenda included the issues on preventive measures, diagnostics and treatment of tumors of different localization and was aimed at improvement of care for patients with oncological diagnoses.

 

Special attention at the Congress was paid to technologies and arrangements ensuring increased efficiency of preventive measures and early detection of oncological diseases. YSAR+ in collaboration with the Russian Association of Oncologists presented at the united stand a set of solutions ensuring automation of the oncological disease screening process as well as the decision support system for the purpose of remote tele-healthcare consultations.

 

Petrovsky Alexander Valeryevich, the Executive Director of the Russian Association of Oncologists, delivered the report on the need for the common tele-healthcare space of the Russian Federation oncological service.

Kochergina Natalya Vasilyevna, the Doctor of Medical Science, Professor, spoke on the results of application of international screening programs and presented the joint solution of YSAR+ and the lead specialists of the Russian Oncological Scientific Center, which ensures automation of the breast cancer screening process.

 

In the report on the "Results of Application of Information Technologies in Diagnostics and Treatment of Oncological Diseases (Experience of the Chuvash Republic)", Voropaeva Lidiya Alexandrovna, the Chief Medical Officer of the Republican Clinical Oncological Dispensary, Cheboksary, spoke on the results of integration of the regional tele-healthcare system and the system of description, recommendations and statistics of mammographic screening, which are being successfully applied in the republican establishments and have already been highly appreciated at the federal level.
