YSAR+ Provides Support for Oncoradiological Competence

On February 17, the 1st All-Russian Scientific and Educational Congress with international participation "Oncoradiology, Radiation Diagnostics and Radiation Therapy" ended in Moscow

The organizers of the event - the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation and the Association of Russian Oncologists - included the section "Information Technologies in Oncology" in the program of the scientific conference, in the preparation and holding of which YSAR+ took an active part.

Upon the recommendations Alexander Valerievich Petrovsky, Executive Director of the Association of Russian Oncologists, the program of this section included reports on unique tele-healthcare technologies (developed by YSAR+ JSC), which the specialists of the Cancer Research Center use in their daily practice.

 

The report on "Standardization of the Diagnostic Process Using Information Technologies", which demonstrated the functionality of the system of descriptions, recommendations and statistics for mammographic screening, was of particular interest to the listeners. This specialized software package was developed by YSAR+ JSC in cooperation with the leading specialists of the Cancer Research Center for the integrated automation of the screening processes in the regions. At the moment, the software has successfully passed clinical trials in a number of regions of the Russian Federation, and its active use has already yielded positive statistical dynamics in the detection of breast cancer at early stages.

 

The introduction of another development of YSAR+ JSC, the "Nosological Cancer Registry" information system, will allow to assess the state of specialized oncological care for the population at the regional level. "To effectively monitor malignant neoplasms in the population of the RF constituent entities, we need to develop not only a population cancer registry, but also to create a nosologic and personalized cancer registry," says Dmitry Borisov, Ph.D., Deputy Chairman of the Specialized Oncology Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department for Perspective Development and International Scientific Relations of the the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

 

YSAR+ JSC keeps improving its medical and radiological information system. During the forum, YSAR+ JSC held at its stand workshops on the development of systems for monitoring and remote control of the patient's health status integrated in YSAR+ products.

The exhibition events also included local presentations of the Company's products to oncologists, specialists in radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy.
